The 5th group includes plants, in which only the tips of the shoots can be frozen. The most frost-resistant plants belong to the 6th group. They usually keep all their parts intact. When buying a rose you should pay attention to its resistance to powdery mildew and black spotting. There is a special scale where, the smaller the figure, the more resistant the rose to these diseases.

Botanists in roses also distinguish another important biological characteristic – the flowering time. For example, if you take into account its flowering time when buying a certain type of roses, you can create a garden of continuous pink flowering.
